1. soft-live

soft-live is CalmStep.AI’s AI-assisted 45-minute text→audio practice. It is not therapy, not medical advice, not a diagnosis tool, and not emergency care. An account is required to use soft-live.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old. Our team operates in Hong Kong; soft-live and this website are open to access from anywhere in the world, especially Chinese-speaking communities. Organisation offerings are Upcoming until we invite you to a pilot.

3. Accounts

soft-live requires an account. We use your account to store conversation history and to continue your last conversation. You are responsible for your login credentials and for content you submit. Do not share information you would not want stored in a soft-live product environment or processed by our LLM/TTS providers.

4. Agreement at sign-up

When you create a soft-live account you must accept these Terms and the Privacy Policy, including use of soft-live account and conversation data for soft-live operations and internal product quality / research as described there. By default, your content is not used to train third-party vendor or foundation models. Soft-live uses TLS in transit; content is processed by LLM and TTS providers and is not end-to-end encrypted.

5. Acceptable use

• No abuse, scraping that harms the service, or attempts to bypass safety limits
• No use of CalmStep.AI as a substitute for emergency services
• No unlawful use under Hong Kong law (or applicable local law)

6. Crisis

If you are in danger, contact local emergency services immediately (Hong Kong: 999). See Safety & efficacy.

7. Organisations

We will be launching more products beyond soft-live soon to further support individuals and organisations (healthcare, insurers, SMEs, charities). Demo requests do not create a paid contract until we agree terms in writing. Session summaries or conversation content are never auto-shared with an employer or clinician — any share is your choice.

8. Disclaimer

soft-live is provided “as is”. We do not warrant uninterrupted availability or clinical outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CalmStep.AI is not liable for decisions you make based on AI replies.

10. Changes

We may update these terms for soft-live operations. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms.
